On Tuesday evening, September 23, from 7-8:30 p.m., three leading experts on LGBT parenting will host a special “how to” seminar that will explain the medical and legal issues that gays and lesbians in New Jersey must address in order to have a baby.

Speakers at this special parenting event include:

·  Dr. Jamie Morris, a board certified reproductive endocrinologist from Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey, one of the leading centers for fertility treatments involving the use of surrogacy, IVF, donor egg and artificial insemination.  Dr. Morris will review the medical treatments available to help same sex couples have a baby.

· Psychologist Andrea Braverman, Ph.D., a specialist in emotional issues associated with same-sex parenting at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey. Dr. Braverman will review the emotional and psychological issues gays and lesbians may face when they decide to have a baby.

· Attorney Melissa Brisman, a specialist in parenting and reproductive rights for gays and lesbians.  She will review the legal considerations that gays and lesbians should address when they decide to have a baby, including contracting with a surrogate to carry a baby for you and strategies to make sure that both members of a same sex couple are legally named as a child’s parent or guardian.
